SECURITY & GOVERNANCE

Give AI clear boundaries.
Keep people in control.

Set what agents can access and do, who reviews sensitive decisions, and what your team needs to check after the work.

A RENEWAL NEEDS AN EXCEPTION

AI prepares the renewal.
A person approves the change.

A customer asks for terms outside the usual renewal policy. The agent gathers the account context and prepares the request for the person authorized to decide.

  1. 01

    Gather the renewal context.

Use the approved account information and renewal policy to understand the customer’s request.

  2. 02

    Show what needs approval.

Present the requested change, the policy exception and the reason the customer gave.

  3. 03

Route it to the decision owner.

Define who can approve, reject or ask for more information. Agree what happens while a decision is pending.

  4. 04

    Check the next action.

If approved, carry out the configured action and confirm the resulting record. Otherwise, return the decision and next step to the account owner.

THREE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Access. Authority. Evidence.

Make the operating rules understandable to the people who build, run and review the workflow.

What can it access?

Identify the sources, records and tools the role needs. Agree who owns the credentials and who can change configuration.

Who can decide?

Separate permitted routine actions from decisions that need approval. Name the review and escalation owners.

What can we review?

Agree which activity records, system results and handoff details your team needs to investigate the work.

REVIEW THE DEPLOYMENT WITH YOUR TEAM

Settle the data questions
before connecting the work.

Security, privacy and operations owners need answers for the systems, providers and contract being proposed.

Which data, providers and locations are involved?

Map the information the workflow needs, the connected systems and providers that handle it, and the locations that apply to the proposed deployment.

How long are records kept, and who can review them?

Agree retention, authorized access and the activity records available for operational review. Confirm the settings and contractual requirements for the environment.

What happens when approval is unavailable?

Define the pending state, escalation owner and permitted recovery path. Verify that the workflow does not treat an unresolved review as authorization to act.

Can we review assurance and contractual requirements?

Discuss the assurance material and commitments available for the proposed deployment with the team. Operating controls on this page do not establish a certification or regulatory compliance claim.

CONTINUE THE REVIEW

Connect the policy
to the actual process.

A useful governance discussion starts with the job, its systems and the decisions it involves.

START WITH ONE WORKFLOW

Bring the decisions
your people need to own.

Discuss the workflow’s data, system actions and review requirements alongside its business goal.
